This course is designed to cover the basic rules of pickleball: terminology, primary skills, coordination, and more. Each class will work on a different part of the game. All participants will be able to gain a solid understanding and foundation to play pickleball matches and enjoy competition. Recommended for new players to help with technique strategy for social play.

CLINIC ITINERARY

Learn the correct grip, stance and how to move safely.

Work on serving and returning deep and serving to targets.

Learn how to hit target volleys and dink volleys.

Know when to come to the kitchen line to volley.

Know exactly when to come in and when to stay back.

Work on dinking and attacking from the kitchen line.

Perfect your third shot drops and transition up to the net.

Advanced Beginner to Low Intermediate Clinic

Sundays | 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | $15 Registration Fee

 This clinic is for those who have already completed the beginner pickleball classes and feel comfortable moving on to new topics that will start getting more involved with strategy and shot selection. If you have not completed the beginner courses but feel you are ready for this clinic, please see our pro for approval prior to registration.

This class will involve mostly point-play and analysis and corrections from the pickleball teaching professional. Topics covered are: third shot drop, touch vs power, moving with your partner, placement within the kitchen, return of serve and more.

At the end of the class, all participants will have the chance to play matches, arranged by the pickleball pro.
